Mark O. Andrews

BIO

Mark grew up in Charleston and graduated from the College of Charleston in 1976. Mark graduated from the University Of South Carolina School of Law in 1980. Has been engaged in private practice for 44 years, primarily focusing on Family Court matters including litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Mark has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America publication each year since 1995 and in the South Carolina Super Lawyers each year since its inception.

Mark is a recognized statewide leader in the area of Family Court Mediation and Arbitration and he is regularly invited to speak on such matters to both the Bar and Family Court Judges of South Carolina.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar, the American Trial Lawyer’s Association and the South Carolina Association for Justice.  He is also a member and past President of the Charleston County Bar Association.

Mark lives in Mt. Pleasant with his law partner and wife, F. P. “Charlie” Segars-Andrews, who is a former Family Court Judge. Mark and Charlie have two children, Kelley and Matt.  The Andrews family are members at the St. Andrew’s Church in Mt. Pleasant where Mark and Charlie are actively involved in different areas of ministry.
